Questions
What are your rates?
Probably lower than you think. Current rates for independent artists are listed on the Upload Portal.
What is the turn around time?
Standard turnaround time is usually 24-48hrs per song. Rush fee of $35 for guaranteed within 24hrs. Upload Portal is constantly updated with current turnaround times.
What file format should I send?
24 bit WAV files. No processing on mix bus. Peaking at -3 to -6dBFS. Separate WAV for Instrumental and Vocals. One reference mp3 of the song as is. Full instructions are on the upload portal.
Do you offer revisions?
We offer free revisions in some cases. For example, if an error occurs on our end for any reason, it will be corrected at no charge. We offer a guarantee to match or beat ANY MASTER (of the same song mix) from ANY OTHER SERVICE within 2 attempts (2 free revisions) or your money back. If the revision request is just a creative preference of the artist/client, or the song is to be remastered due to a small mix change, there is a $35 revision fee. If a new mix is provided that is completely different from the first, it would be considered a new master.
Can I hear before-and-after examples?
Yes you can, by clicking any action button on this page you will be sent an email with access to the Upload Portal, our Mastering Portfolio Playlist (before-and-afters), and a "Mix with Mastering in Mind" PDF cheat sheet.
Do you offer mixing or stem mastering?
We don't actively promote mixing or stem mastering services. Our preference is to master with 2 separate WAVs for instrumental and vocals if possible. But if you do need something like mixing or stem mastering, we do have options. Contact us via Instagram DM: @lastlvlmastering or email: [email protected] for more info.
What payment methods do you accept?
Almost any card, Cashapp Pay, Link, Amazon Pay, Bank, even Klarna (for albums). Other methods like PayPal, Zelle etc must be via direct contact on Instagram: @lastlvlmastering or Email: [email protected]
